Professional Plan: What We’ve Learned After 1 Month
1 month, 13,000+ submissions, and a 24.5% approval rate these are the results from our new Professional Plan.

It’s been one month since we launched the Professional Plan, a subscription plan designed to help artists and labels looking to submit smarter and easier through a whole suite of new submissions, insights and improved existing tools. With more than 13.000 submissions and a 24,5% approval rate, it’s clear the tools are working! So here’s what we’ve learned, and why it might be time for you to try it too.
Strong Results from Playlists Recommendation
One of the standout features of the Professional Plan is Playlist Recommendations. Each subscriber receives weekly personalized recommendations that highlight the most suited playlists to submit to. Each playlist is given a scoring out of 100 based on your song, taking into consideration, genre, language, curation quality and audio characteristics (known as Vibe Match). Also, this submission type has no gates while having a 7 day response time deadline! If you’re curious in learning more about the scoring system, we explain in detail here.
Here's what happened in the month:
• Total Playlist Recommendation Submissions: 13,511
• Approved Recommendation Submissions: 3,315
• That’s a 24.5% approval rate
To put that in context:
• Recommendation Submissions: 24.5% approval rate
• Standard Submissions: 16.3% approval rate
• Premium Submissions: 36.1% approval rate
The Professional Plan offers 50% better odds than Standard Submissions, while Premium maintains the spot as our most effective submission type.
The key reason? Submissions go to better-matched playlists and have better visibility, improving both curator response and success rate.
Tonnes of Feedback: Track Explorer Stats
With the new plan, we updated the UI/UX of the feedback received from the Track Explorer, giving subscribers a much smoother experience.
For those that don’t know, the Track Explorer is a feature that allows users to give feedback on subscribers' music in exchange for Standard Submissions.
• 5,207 users left at least one piece of feedback
• 15,017 total feedback received
• When feedback is left by listening to the full track (instead of the preview), that means up to 15,000 streams were generated across the listed tracks
Artists are receiving meaningful feedback and exposure, while DailyPlaylists community members explore new music and earn credits to submit their own songs.
Other Fun Facts
Behind the scenes, our scoring system continues to improve. In the last month:
• 2,337 curators were identified as having playlists worth recommending to artists based on our scoring metrics
• Most popular genres submitted to via suggestions: Hip Hop, Rap, Alt Rock, Alt Pop, and Indie Pop
• Most selected artist languages: English, followed by Spanish, French, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese
