H1 Massive is a global community of over 140 artists spanning indie rock, alternative rock, trip-hop, EDM, and hip-hop. Founded on fairness and artistic integrity, the label is a space for creatives where their hard work is rewarded and celebrated.

Creator John Eye has spent decades in the music industry. As a touring singer-songwriter, audio engineer, and producer, John has spent over 25 years recording, mixing, and mastering for a huge portfolio of artists. During this time, he saw the unfairness of label deals. Determined to be better, he built H1 Massive in 2010. The label quickly saw global digital distribution through The Orchard (Sony Music) and physical distribution with Newbury Comics and other partners across the US and UK.

John’s reputation helped the label gain early traction. Companies like Ronin Management began directing artists to H1 Massive, fueling its international growth. But it doesn’t stop at representation. John personally curates genre-specific playlists synced across platforms like Spotify, Deezer, YouTube, and SoundCloud. These playlists offer artists the chance to feature alongside today’s biggest names, all while learning from John.

For example, The Ultra Indie Alternative playlist showcases the best of indie and alternative rock with a touch of New Wave flair, featuring iconic artists like Placebo, The Killers, and Gorillaz. It’s the perfect mix for those craving a blend of edgy and melodic sounds. For a more intimate vibe, the Best of Trip Hop & LoFi playlist delivers sensual, downtempo tracks designed for your private moments. Meanwhile, Gotham After Party is the perfect complement to a night out, featuring legends like The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, and Love and Rockets.

What sets H1 Massive apart, is its advocacy for artists' rights. The label champions fair pay and recognises how musicians shape our music: By humans, for humans. In an industry that puts profits over people, H1 Massive is a beacon of fairness, empowering artists to thrive without compromise.
