What are the latest Automatic Submission Upgrades?

When planning the recent Artist Pro upgrades, it was very clear that we wanted to make amendments to the way the Automatic Submission tool is conducted. From improving the quality of the playlist, to avoiding curators who remove tracks too soon, we knew we had a lot to tackle. 

Based on feedback from the community and our own learnings, you can read a list of upgrades to the Automatic Submission tool below.

⁠Curators who have genres from multiple categories will have less favor in the algorithm

- Higher the spread, higher the penalisation
- The algorithm will greatly favor tighter genre spread

Placements that get removed in under a week will be refunded

- You will be submitted to other playlists instead
- This playlist will receive a negative mark 

Playlists with hundreds or thousands of tracks will be downranked 

- Users will now be able to report back on placements. You can report a placement if:
- playlists didn't drive engagement
- playlist has too many tracks
- playlist is not a fit for my song 


We have included 55 new genres so both curators and artists can accurately list their playlists and songs.

We are making 10 submissions per day on your behalf, in one week this equals a submission value of $55.95 & in a month $223.85!
