Sound Quality
The track must be properly recorded and mastered – with good dynamic range, no audible distortion and clipping.
Vocals and instruments should sound crisp and clear.
Currently, I only accept songs in English.
I prefer songs with vocals for my Blues playlists. I accept instrumentals for my Jazz & Funk playlists on Spotify. I have some instrumental pieces on my Americana playlist but it too is focused mainly on tracks with vocals.
I am big fan of organic, raw and authentic sound. I usually don't favor digitally generated sounds and effects.
Genre and mood of the song
My channel and playlists are focused mainly on Electric Blues and vocal Jazz.
Genres like Acoustic blues, Americana, Dark Country, Folk, Bebop, Cool Jazz, Singer-Songwriter, Funk, Swing / Neo Swing, Jazz-hop, Bossa-nova, Soul are also welcome for some of my playlists.
Most of the songs on the channel have a relaxed mood and a slower tempo. (I like upbeat ones for my Funky Grooves playlist). I like guitar driven tracks and gritty, deep vocals.
Even if I don’t find your song suitable for the channel I can still promote it on Spotify, Deezer, SoundCloud, Facebook and my other social pages.
I love songs with good story and captivating lyrics.
I rarely focus on Christmas & other holiday-themed music.
