Every now and again you come across a song that immediately smears a grin onto your face and remains there for the duration. This is exactly my reaction to Bruvvy’s ‘WTFU.’
The majority of the song is a high-energy, confident strut, delivering a perfect mess of rock and roll that feels reminiscent of early 2000s, “stick it to the man” music. However, there is more to ‘WTFU’ that comes to life during the bridge. I won’t completely spoil it for you, you’ll have to check it out for yourself, but I will say there is a delicious guitar solo that perfectly mirrors the established vibe of the track.
‘WTFU’ makes you want to take on the world. Bruvvy have weaved a track that feels appropriate to scream along to in your room as well as working as the soundtrack to a high-powered female boss parading into work.
