Artist Highlight: Taelyn

'Human Nature' by Taelyn is this week's Artist Pro highlight: a R&B with 2000s essence song found on our Track Explorer!

‘Human Nature’ captures the essence of R&B that we left behind in the early 2000s. Taelyn’s vocals perfectly match this genre of music, elegantly riding the wave of the melody. This is especially present in the chorus, repeating the motif “Why, oh why” where the singer flexes his falsetto and ability to riff.

The track is decorated by a subtle saxophone that appears in the second half of the song as well as a pitched-up vocal that accompanies Taelyn’s main delivery. These extra elements make ‘Human Nature’ feel whole, mirroring the crisp production of the track.

Taelyn has created a tune that zaps us back to the glory days of clubbing. Before phones got in the way and remixes dominated the setlist. ‘Human Nature’ invites you to move, each roll of the hip and swipe of the foot made with purpose and clarity.
